An Immersive Social Experience: Crypto Court Poker Nights Launch in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada – Dave Thompson, CEO of Changing Vegas, LLC, has launched Crypto Court Poker, a new table game representing a whole new genre within the Las Vegas gambling community. It’s a poker-based strategy card game, reminiscent of Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone. People who enjoy playing poker and/or deck-building mobile and video games will love the challenge and fast pace.

The next two tournaments will be held at Cheba Hut at 2250 South Rainbow Blvd. Friday January 27 and Friday February 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A whole new gaming business model in Las Vegas

Entrepreneur Dave Thompson remarks, “My dream is to bring video games to the gaming floor! I wanted to create a skill-based game that focuses on the game itself rather than a particular property.

Dave says there’s a different way of doing business in the gaming industry. “We offer 100% player readability on games, there’s no house. I see no reason to nickel and dime players. When someone gets good at Crypto Court, the odds are really in their favor. It’s a more modern and transparent way of doing business, than players of all types, including Millennials and I want players to have the opportunity to play a wild and challenging game of strategy when they visit Las Vegas!

Crypto Court Poker has a medieval theme; it involves creating a 20-card Power Deck, then strategically playing and combining their cards with their deck to affect the poker action. Changing Vegas – an indie game and film development studio in Las Vegas – is currently hosting live games in various Vegas locations, which will be followed by the development of a mobile app and video game, as well as new products and merchandise. The company’s Game Nights are an immersive social experience.

Playing to its medieval theme, Crypto Court players can earn promo cards through cosplay and by referring new players to the game.

As of this month, traveling troupe Crypto Court began hosting immersive gaming nights in select Las Vegas locations. The next two tournaments will take place on Friday, January 27 and Friday, February 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Cheba Hut at 2250 South Rainbow Blvd.
