Bitcoin hit its highest levels since August ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday celebrations across Asia, rising at the start of the weekend for the second time in a row.
The biggest cryptocurrency rose 2.1% to $22,786, the highest level since Aug. 18. She also had strong gains Friday and Saturday last weekend. The second-tier Ether rose 2.4% to levels not seen since September. This comes amid new predictions that the cryptocurrency market has broken through its lows and the start of the Lunar New Year holiday celebrated across much of Asia, also often referred to as Chinese New Year.
