Coinfest Asia Crypto Festival was a great success! – The cryptonomist

Coinfest Asia, the Top Insight & Networking Festival of Crypto, Blockchain, Web3, Metaverse and NFT Asia was successfully held from August 25-26, 2022 at Cafe Del Mar, Bali. Held at a beach club, Coinfest Asia has successfully created an insightful yet relaxing event for crypto enthusiasts around the world.

According to Felita Setiawan, Project Manager of Coinfest Asia and Director of Coinvestasi, this event was intentionally organized with a concept that suits the mindset of crypto investors.

“Each year before the pandemic we would always host Coinfest, but this year we wanted it to be bigger with a more relaxed concept that we believe suits the mindset of the crypto industry. We believe the ambiance has allowed crypto enthusiasts to gain knowledge and connections by attending the most comfortable crypto event.

Coinfest Asia was opened by Deputy Minister of Commerce, Jerry Sambuaga. In his opening remarks, he said that Coinfest Asia was one of the most important events supporting the growth of crypto in Indonesia.

“Congratulations to Coinfest Asia for creating this event, I see the crypto industry as a very beneficial and potential industry for the country. Crypto transactions in Indonesia had also increased significantly where as of December 2020 the volume total transactions was 64.9 trillion rupees and in December 2021 it increased to around 859 trillion rupees.This could be beneficial for the country’s revenue, so I am very happy that this event can support the crypto ecosystem Indonesian, that’s why the government is happy to support the digital commerce ecosystem.

Coinfest Asia was owned by Coinvestasi, a subsidiary media company of Indonesia Crypto Network (ICN). This event was supported by Coindesk Indonesia, Indonesian Blockchain Association, Singapore Blockchain Association and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce.

This festival event brought together more than 1,500 people, including crypto experts, investors, developers and regulators from 52 countries around areas such as Web3, Blockchain and NFT, and attracted a lot of attention in just two days approx.

As an example, over the two days it was held, Coinfest Asia had four event areas, Main Stage, Chat Area, Bull Area, and Whale Room. The majority of the event took place on the main stage, where all the talks and panel discussions were held. The breakout room was a place where attendees and speakers could network and connect with each other. The Whale Hall and Bull Zone have been specifically designed for bull ticket attendees to network and pitch their projects to each other for collaboration and fundraising opportunities.

ICN has also launched its new crypto media called Coindesk Indonesia, a multimedia portal for updates around crypto, block chain, NFT, Web3, investment and other technology updates in Indonesia and around the world.
