The price of the HT token has increased by 15% in the past day due to Huobi’s announcement to drop the Dominica (DMC) coin. This new digital token will be issued by the Caribbean island nation of Dominica and can be used to perform identity verification on Huobi with digital identification documents from Dominica.
Meanwhile, cryptocurrency markets rallied slightly after Monday’s slight slowdown, with BTC trading up 1.4% to $16,466 on the day, ETH gaining 4.1% to 1,219. $ and most other crypto assets also in the green. The global crypto market capitalization stands at $834.82 billion, an increase of 1.80% in the last 24 hours.
Although most assets are recovering from Monday’s decline, markets are still relatively subdued as traders scramble to determine “which parts of the cryptoverse are about to break,” as Edward Moya, principal analyst at the market for forex market maker Oanda, said today in a note to investors.
