Crypto Price Today: Crypto Market Cap Below $1 Trillion; Bitcoin down 8.4%, Ethereum drops 6.39%

All major cryptocurrencies and tokens were trading with losses and as a result, the crypto market capitalization fell below the $1 trillion mark on Wednesday morning.


The global cryptocurrency market fell 5.94% to $998.15 as of 8:30 a.m. Trading volume increased by 21.94% to $90.08 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.


The trading volume in the decentralized financial coins section is approximately $7.49 billion, or 7.4% of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market. The volume of all stablecoins is $93.47 billion, which is approximately 92.38% of the total crypto market volume in the last 24 hours.


The top winner was Terra Classic (LUNC). It rose 11.79% to $0.00035. The big loser was helium (HNT), down 13.27% to $4.60.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 8.4% to $20,388.05.


Bitcoin was trading with gains for most of September 13, but around 5:54 p.m., the price of BTC fell from $22,600 to $21,202 within an hour. It continued to decline until it created its intraday low of around $20,000 at 3:44 a.m. on September 14.

Its lowest intraday trading price was $20,062.67, while its volume increased by 7.52% to $51,259,309,952.



Ethereum: Ethereum the price fell 6.39% to $1,596.98 in the past 24 hours through Wednesday morning.


Like BTC, the price of ETH also fell around 5:54 p.m. on September 13 in the space of 50 minutes. By midnight, the price had dropped further to around $1,564. Like today morning, the price has rallied but is still trading near its intraday low.

The lowest price for ETH today was $1,564.03. The trading volume of ETH increased by 35.11% to $23,139,136,074.



Other Altcoins: The price of Solana (SOL) fell 11.09% to $33.70 today.


Ripple (XRP) fell 5.52% to $0.3346 and its 24-hour trading volume increased 34.29% to $1,449,058,532.


Cardano (ADA) fell 4.79% to $0.4719. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume increased by 8.3% to $826,116,174.


Binance (BNB) fell 4.15% to $279.23. Its 24-hour trading volume increased by 14.57% to $1,134,855,541.
