Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin Down 1.07%, Ethereum Down 2.44% As Crypto Market Falls

After rising in value for the past three days, the crypto market is once again back in red territory with the top cryptocurrencies (by market capitalization) like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance, Ripple, falling in value as of Thursday morning.

The global crypto market fell 1.17% to $980.68 billion as of 8:30 a.m. Trading volume fell by 8.96% to $68.05 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.

The trading volume in the decentralized financial coins section is approximately $5.31 billion, or 7.8% of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market. The volume of all stablecoins is $61.46 billion, which is about 90.32% of the total crypto market volume in the last 24 hours.

The hottest coin on Monday morning was Binance (BNB), and the top gainer was UNUS SED LEO (LEO). It rose 7.76% to $5.83. The big loser was Helium (HNT), down 7% to $5.13.

Cryptocurrency prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin fell 1.07 percent to $20,119.59.

BTC managed to cross the $20,000 mark, but the trade is very volatile. The price of Bitcoin has been under selling pressure every time the price rises and around 8:19 p.m. on August 31, the price of BTC fell below $20,000 and remained below for several hours. After that, BTC then recovered the $20,000 mark around 5:54 a.m.

Its lowest intraday trading price was $19,955.35, while its volume was down 9.03% at $32,308,533,991.

Ethereum: Ethereum the price fell 2.21% to $1,557.36 in the past 24 hours through Tuesday morning.

Like BTC, ETH came under heavy selling pressure around 8:34 p.m. on August 31 and dragged ETH to levels of $1,545 from $1,600. It wasn’t until around 1:04 a.m. that ETH prices managed to break out from the lower price levels to reach the upper levels of $1,575. But then, around 6:19 a.m. on September 1, ETH price came under selling pressure again and it knocked down ETH’s higher price levels and brought it back below the levels of $1,560.

The lowest price for ETH today was $1,537.93. ETH trading volume decreased by 13.52% to $19,805,620,621.

Other Altcoins: The price of Solana (SOL) fell 2.78% to $31.46 today.

Ripple (XRP) lost 1.98% to $0.325 and its 24-hour trading volume fell 5.17% to $911,660,085.

Cardano (ADA) fell 2.89% to $0.4477. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume fell 20.62% to $520,448,113.

Binance (BNB) fell 3.68% to $277.85. Its 24-hour trading volume decreased by 6.37% to $938,826,050.

Aave (AAVE) was trading with a loss of 2.37% at $84.88 and its 24-hour trading volume was down 14.57% at $137,064,120.
