FTX effect? Hong Kong Crypto Exchange AAX Disappears From Facebook, YouTube – FTX Token (FTT/USD)

The AAX cryptocurrency exchange, which recently halted withdrawalsapparently cleaned up his social media accounts in the middle of the FTX FTT/USD spread of the contagion.

What happened: AAX Youtube channel was abruptly deleted, leaving users confused. It appears that AAX’s Facebook account has also been deleted.

Cryptocurrency natives have warned users not to deposit funds into the exchange. “AAX liquidated traders futures positions, withdrawals halted for two weeks, delete their YouTube channel, executives steal. Looks like the next bankruptcy will be announced soon,” said a popular cryptocurrency trader Lark Davis.

It comes as AAX’s global vice president of marketing and communications announced his resignation on Monday. Ben Caselin revealed that he had quit his job at the exchange in a Twitter thread, saying his battle for the community had yielded no progress.

According to Caselin, the initiatives created were not accepted.

He also expressed dismay at AAX’s handling of the situation, adding that the exchange’s actions were “unempathetic” and “too secretive.”

Meanwhile, AAX’s Twitter account remains available, with the last tweet posted on November 21.

AAX did not respond to Benzinga’s request for comment at the time of writing.
