Opera Crypto Browser to Enable Instant NFT Typing via Dashboard

In an announcement sent to Cointelegraph, the company said it has partnered with Alteon LaunchPad to make it easy for people new to the Web3 or NFT space to create NFTs. With the integration, users will be able to access a feature that allows them to drag and drop media files into the browser, which writes a smart contract and uploads the file to a blockchain, turning the files into NFTs.
According to Opera executive Susie Batt, this will allow users to explore Web3 and contribute to the ecosystem. Batt explained:
“Now our users will be able to create NFTs instantly and simply without platform usage fees, which will encourage more people to explore the booming NFT industry.”
With this tool, the team believes that users without any Web3 experience will also be able to access the Web3 economy. This means that artists from different backgrounds will be able to create NFTs in a less complicated way.
The NFT typing tool is provided by a company called Alteon, a project focused on simplifying workflows. Matt Cimaglia, co-founder of Alteon, said the goal of the integration is to “level the playing field” for content creators from diverse backgrounds. “Our partnership with Opera bridges the technology gap between traditional creatives and the Web3 creator economy, so everyone can benefit from the opportunities offered by blockchain technologies,” he added.
